Refund policy
Order Cancellation
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@ductbankspacer.com or call 212-982-6203. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If your order has already shipped, cancellation is no longer possible; however, you may return eligible items as described below. Customers are responsible for round-trip shipping costs on orders cancelled or refused after shipment, including orders returned due to incomplete or incorrect shipping information. Orders that are delivered but not picked up or are returned to the carrier depot may be considered abandoned at our discretion.
Returns
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition as received—unused, unassembled, unworn, with all original tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation. You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase. Used products cannot be returned.
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please email sales@ductbankspacer.com to obtain an RMA. If your return is accepted, we will provide return instructions and shipping details. Items sent back without first requesting an RMA will not be accepted.
Non-returnable items: Perishable goods (such as food or plants), custom or personalized products, personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, items purchased on sale, and gift cards cannot be returned. If you have questions about a specific item, please contact us prior to purchase.
If the return is due to our error (for example, you receive an incorrect or defective item), we will cover the return shipping costs. Otherwise, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. All valid returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee, unless the return is due to our error.
Defective or Damaged Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. You must notify us within 3 days of delivery so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Depending on the situation, we may request photos or additional information to process a replacement, repair, or refund. We cover return shipping costs for defective or damaged items. Failure to notify us within the specified timeframe may limit our ability to process your claim.
Customer Remorse (Wrong Item, Doesn’t Fit, No Longer Needed)
If you purchased the wrong product, it does not fit your needs, or you no longer want it, please email us to request an RMA number. You may arrange your own return shipping, or we can arrange return shipping at your expense.
Customer remorse returns are subject to the same 30% restocking fee, and all shipping charges will be billed before your refund is issued. Products returned without an RMA or not in their original condition may be refused or assessed additional fees.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for the entire refund process, which includes: (1) return shipping time to our facility (typically 5–10 business days), (2) return inspection and processing (3–5 business days), and (3) processing time by your bank or credit card issuer (5–10 business days). You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please place a new order and return the original item following the return process outlined above. Once your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Chargeback Policy
By completing your purchase with Duct Bank Spacer, you agree not to dispute or charge back the transaction based on our clearly stated policies. We will provide documentation to payment processors, including confirmation of your acceptance of these terms at checkout, to resolve any disputes.
Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent customer account termination, collection actions for any disputed amounts, and legal proceedings where applicable. We are fully transparent about our sales terms and expect all customers to review them carefully prior to purchase.
